Yesterday evening, April 11th, the luxury house Louis Vuitton has set up a dinner at the Louvre Museum to celebrate its new collaboration with the artist Jeff Koons: a suggestion of bags inspired by five famous painters’ masterpieces, whose Leonardo da Vinci and “La Gioconda”. Koons has revisited iconic models of the brand such as the Speedy and the Neverfull through his technique “Gazing Ball”, replication of the paintings of these great masters (Van Gogh, Tiziano, Rubens and Fragonard) hand-painted on a large scale.

These bags, that will be launched on April 28th in the Louis Vuitton stores, are made with high-quality materials and are marked by the presence of the name of the artist original work’s author. Koons has also revisited the famous Monogram in order to include his initials.
