The day after Rodolfo Paglialunga left, the luxury company Jil Sander, at the head of the Japanese group Onward Luxury, has just named Lucie and Luke Meier new Artistic Directors. Mr and Mrs Meier, partners for work but also in their private life, have excellent references: Lucie, former head designer of women collection at Dior, with past experiences at Louis Vuitton under the management of the A.D. Marc Jacobs and at Balenciaga with Nicolas Ghesquière and Luke, co-founder and designer of the men’s brand RTW Oamc, which is actually distributed in more than 100 stores worldwide.
“Lucie and Luke share an intimate connection and they perfectly understand the brand” says the CEO of the brand, Alessandra Bettari.
They are expected to start for the Spring-Summer Collection 2018.
