On Sunday, 7th may, Prada unveiled its cruise collection during the fashion show at the Osservatorio of the Fondazione Prada, located at the first floor of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, famous gallery in the centre of Milan. It is the first time that the Italian luxury company dedicates an entire Fashion Show to its Cruise collection. When interviewed at the end of the runway, the designer Miuccia Prada wanted to specify that “it’s rather a “no cruise” because words such as “cruise” or “resort” seem to me adjectives for marginal fashion shows”. On stage a collection of tasteful airiness and subtle transparencies. The woman in Prada unveils her sensuality through her shirts all the way up to the top, her blouses with or without ruches and her tulle skirts to wear with knee-high socks. The whole show in a magical scenery characterized by the pastel colours screens that reproduce the delicate hues of the collection, from the powder pink to the lavender blue.
