The 32nd Edition of Hyères Festival of Fashion and Photography has just ended. Here’s a summary of the winners of the contest. The 29-year-old Swiss designer Vanessa Schindler’s technique performance was rewarded with the grand prix du jury Première Vision. The designer has succeeded in integrating the fabric into a soft plastic, by inventing a new vocabulary of textile.The winner of the Swarovski Fashion accessories grand prix, new of this year’s edition, is Marina Chedel, a 28 year-old Suiss-Brazilian designer. The creation that seduced the jury, chaired by the shoe-designer Pierre Hardy, is a pair of sandals sculpture made of wood and leather, inspired by the Swiss mountains where the designer has spent her childhood. The prix Chloé was awarded to the German Gesine Fösterling and finally the Galeries Lafayette chose the French Marine Serre, nominated for the 2017 LVMH Prize, for a capsule collection.
